My writing skills Part 2

Albert Einstein:  Time Traveler continued

3 years later . . .
Over the years, Einstein passed the time toiling in his theories about physics.  However, it was spoiled on the night of Kristallnacht (the night of broken glass), his house was ransacked and his paper were found.  He is taken from his home in a coal-black Mercedes after which he is driven to the heavily guarded German prison of Colditz .  Colditz is the prison used for only the most important or dangerous prisoners.  At the time there are only seven people incarcerated2 former kings, 3 other leaders of countries, 1 attempted regicide and 1 depressed scientist.  Einstein conspires with the unjustly accused King Zog to smuggle scrap metal and other materials into his cell in which he is constructing his magnum opus.
"If we can accelerate an object to the speed of light, than it and any other object touching it ,namely me, will be able to move into the past!", exclaims Einstein.
"I didn't understand a word you just said, but if you can change the past so that the Nazis don't win World War 2 by using your atomic bomb formula, then I'm all for it.", replies Zog, a bit ignorantly.
They both put their hands on the device, which looks like a small pocket watch, adjust the settings, and BOOM!  The door explodes and a man in a black suit with copious amounts of medals flanked by two SS storm troopers comes in, arrests Zog, who is never seen again, and takes his research and materials and leaves them in his offics.  Later Einstein seeks out to take back his machine.  He sets it, and a bright flash and. . .

1937:  Albert Einstein looks around, sees that everything is just as it should be, smiles, and books two tickets out of Berlin.

My writing skills

This is the start to a short story that I wrote.  My parents said that it was spectacular, novel quality even.  So I decided to post it here.

Rewrite of History

1937:  Albert Einstein looked up to the stormy gray sky and wondered, not for the first time, if he should leave Berlin.  He was a dark haired man, of serious temperament, with blue twinkling eyes.  Yes or no? Yes or no?

"Indecision can be tormenting.", he mused.  He sat down and puts his head in his hands.  Finally he gets up.  He had decided.  No.  Unbeknownst to him or the milling, mindless, masses around him, it was a decision that would change the world forever.  It started to rain, first a mild drizzle, then moving up to a torrential downpour.  He pulled his coat tighter, and started off down the road to see his beloved Mary.

Please comment so I can see how you like it.

Chiapas

Two weeks ago I went to Chiapas for Semana Santa.  For the first week I stayed in San Cristobal de las Casas in a hotel called KuKuRutz with my friends, the Henslys, the MacDonalds, and the Matchetts.  We had a lot of fun, playing in the yard, improving our top skills.  The spinning kind, not the top of a mountain.    We also ate many different foods including, but not limited to, subs, pizza, spaghetti, and baked goods.  Very good.  During the second to last night, the Hensleys and I watched the James Bond movie Goldfinger.  Then during the second week we split up and my family traveled all over Chiapas.  We probably spent about 18 hrs. in the car!  Luckily only 1 person vomited.  Unluckily that person was me!  We spent one night at Parador-Museo Santa Maria, one night at Cascadas Chiflon, two nights in Tuxtla Gutierrez, and probably more but I just can't remember. Bye for now!

The Saddest Day of my Life

Today was the saddest day of my life.  Today was the day when I found out about the unexpected death of my piano teacher Elena Shoemaker.  She died of liver disease.  She was a loving, caring teacher and a equally great friend.  I loved the way she chastised me when I got something wrong or was being too stubborn.  I wrote a eulogy for her below.  Elena Shoemaker
Unknown-April 3, 2012
A great piano teacher
and a just as great friend.
May her memory live on forever in the minds of the Great Pianists.
Place of birth: Unknown
Place of death: San Miguel de Allende

She was one of the most influential people in my life.
